Prior to its initial public offering, Quickmart is wholly owned by Sokani Retail Kenya, with ownership split among Sokani Retail Holdings (50.8%), Quickmart founders (31.8%), Tumaini founders (12.0%) and CEO Peter Kang’iri (5.4%).
