The Central Bank of Kenya has raised its inflation forecast, now projecting headline inflation to peak at 7.2 percent in December 2026, up from the earlier 6.8 percent peak expected in January 2027. Inflation is seen easing to 5.1 percent by August 2027, still within the 2.5–7.5 percent target band.
