Kenya's $400 million emergency financing from the World Bank is set for approval today, with funds earmarked for subsidized fertilizer and seeds, clean water, essential medicines and cash transfers to vulnerable households. The financing will use the World Bank's Rapid Response Option, allowing up to ten percent of undisbursed project funds to be redirected for emergencies.
